The Project Timeline: What to Expect
Most people do not realize that building a deck is not just a two-week weekend job. From the first handshake to the final board being laid down, a typical Trex deck project takes anywhere from six to twelve weeks. The biggest variable in our mountain environment is not actually our crew; it is the city or county permitting office. Plan review times can fluctuate heavily depending on the season, so starting your conversations in the winter or early spring puts you ahead of the summer rush for Deck Construction in Flagstaff, AZ.
Once permits clear, actual Deck Construction usually takes about one to three weeks depending on the size and complexity of your layout, multi-level designs, or custom staircases.
How to Prepare Your Property

- Secure pets indoors during noisy construction hours.
- Move any patio furniture, potted plants, or permanent fixtures away from the existing deck or build site.
